I soon learned that "Thunder Weekend" is a big event in Louisville. This is the sort of the "Opening Ceremony" for the Kentucky Derby....
This includes an Air Show and a Fireworks exhibit.
Within hours, the Galt House Hotel Property and miles around it will be saturated with people.
While those wristbands are a pain, it keeps the hotel from being overrun...
