Galt House

The Galt House has always been an interesting property in my eyes. I've been to Louisville a number of times for a number of different activities (FBLA-PBL, High Schools that Work/SREB, DECA, and now DEX).

It was exciting to turn the corner and see the old Galt House standing at the end of the block. This is an interesting property, it sits right on the Interstate and on the River. It has 2 towers which are connected by an observation bridge which serves as some shelter if you walk from one side to the other on the outside.

We arrived at what I believe would have been 1:30 a.m.??

Galt House staff is always wonderful!---The did our check-in quickly and the guys outside made sure we found a place to park our van (it was too tall for the normal parking garage).

Remember for the next post---notice that wristband, the Galt House registration lady did make a comment that we needed to be wearing these if we wanted to leave the hotel "tomorrow"---which really mean, "later today"---since it was Saturday morning when we arrived.

Finally---REST...
